該作品是藝術(shù)家Nike Savvas在悉尼巴蘭加魯開發(fā)局的委托下創(chuàng)作的臨時(shí)性藝術(shù)裝置，被安置在Barangaroo南部的交易廣場。“Papillon”在法語中是蝴蝶的意思，懸浮的外觀展現(xiàn)出藝術(shù)家對色彩和形式的獨(dú)到運(yùn)用，帶來富有變化和沉浸感的體驗(yàn)。該作品由藝術(shù)家和UAP事務(wù)所合作完成，帶有光澤的塑料彩帶能夠?qū)χ車h(huán)境做出反應(yīng)，同時(shí)為觀眾營造出一種多感官的迷幻氛圍。

Nike Savvas was commissioned by the Barangaroo Development Authority to create a temporary artwork installed at Exchange Square, Barangaroo South as part of a Temporary Art Initiative. Savvas’ work titled Papillon (French for butterfly), is a suspended installation that showcases the artists signature use of colour and form to create transformational and immersive experiences. Produced in collaboration with UAP, the work is comprised of colourful, glossy plastic ribbons (bespoke bunting) that are suspended overhead and react to surrounding environmental conditions. The work offered a captivating multi-sensory experience designed to mesmerize, transport and transform the viewer.
